昨年１１月に岡山で開催し好評を博した『せとうちケーリー』の第二回を香川県琴平町にて開催します！
２日間のアイルランド音楽とダンス三昧のイベントです。
日本のケーリー・シーンをけん引してきた「トヨタ・ケーリーバンド」と、関西発の「マウント・六甲ケーリーバンド」がケーリーを盛り上げます。

ダンスも楽器ももできないけど、アイルランド音楽に興味がある！という方、ケーリーバンドの演奏を生で聴きたい！という方も大歓迎。
どなたでもお気軽にお越しください。
何よりも「出会い」がケーリーの最大の楽しみなのです。

The second year of “Setouchi Céilí” will be held in Kotohira City, Kagawa Prefecture!
It will be a two-day event full of Irish music and dance.
The Toyota Céilí Band, which has been leading the Japanese Céilí scene, and the Mount Rokko Céilí Band from the Kansai region will be performing a lively Céilí.

Those who can neither dance nor play instruments but are interested in Irish music and want to hear a Céilí band live are also welcome.
Anyone is welcome to come and join us.
Above all, it is the “encounter” that is the greatest fun of the Céilí!

8人（４ペア）１セットで踊る『セットダンス』の他、初心者でも踊れる簡単なツーハンドダンス、ワルツなどを生演奏の音楽で思いっきり踊りましょう！

In addition to the “set dance” in which eight people (four pairs) dance as a set, let's dance simple two-hand dances and waltzes that even beginners can dance to the lively Céilí Band music!

Workshops

9/20は初心者向けのセットダンスワークショップ、9/21は楽器を練習中の人向けの音楽ワークショップを開催します。

There will be a set dance workshop for beginners on the first day (9/20) and a music workshop on the second day (9/21) for those who want to enjoy Irish music in a session.

ライブ＆セッション
Concert ＆ Session

中国・四国地方のミュージシャンや、ケーリーバンドの演奏をじっくり聴ける２時間のライブ。その後はセッションやダンスでアイルランドの文化を体感！

A two-hour live concert where you can listen closely to musicians from the Chugoku and Shikoku regions and the Céilí Bands, followed by sessions and dancing!

金毘羅さんの表参道エリアの宿（ドミトリー）を格安で手配できるように調整中。決まり次第、予約開始いたします。

We are coordinating to arrange accommodation (dormitory) in the Omotesando area of Konpira-san at a reasonable price. We will start recieving reservations as soon as it is confirmed.

香川・琴平ってどんなとこ？
Kotohira, Kagawa prefecture

「こんぴらさん」の愛称で親しまれる金刀比羅宮（ことひらぐう）がある香川県の琴平町。江戸時代から参拝者が絶えないこの地は、長い石段を登ることで知られ、785段の本宮、さらに1368段の奥社までの道のりは自然と歴史を感じる道。
こんぴら温泉郷では、歴史ある旅館やモダンな宿泊施設が点在し、参拝の後に温泉で癒やされるのも楽しみのひとつです。また、周辺には「旧金毘羅大芝居（こんぴら歌舞伎）」で知られる日本最古の現存歌舞伎劇場や、地元のうどん屋さんが並ぶ「うどんの町」としての魅力も満載。少し足を伸ばせば、丸亀城や瀬戸内海の絶景が広がる天空の鳥居「高屋神社」などもあり、香川の自然と歴史、文化を堪能できます。県外からのご参加も大歓迎！

Kotohira-cho, Kagawa Prefecture, is home to Kotohira Shrine, nicknamed “Kompira-san. The area, which has been visited by worshippers since the Edo period, is known for its long stone steps that lead up to the main shrine (785 steps) and the inner shrine (1,368 steps), a path that is steeped in nature and history.
In Kompira Hot Spring Village, historic inns and modern lodging facilities are scattered throughout the area, and after visiting the shrine, visitors can look forward to being healed in a hot spring bath. Also in the vicinity is the oldest existing kabuki theater in Japan, known for the “Old Kompira Great Theatre (Kompira Kabuki),” as well as the town of “udon” with its many local udon noodle shops. A short distance away, Marugame Castle and Takaya Shrine, a torii in the sky with a spectacular view of the Seto Inland Sea, are also available for visitors to enjoy Kagawa's nature, history, and culture. Participants from outside the prefecture are also welcome!
